Who we are

Calma is made by AASN Tech. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean AASN Tech, and "Calma" means the Calma iPhone app. This policy also covers this website, trycalma.app. You can reach us at support@trycalma.app.

1. Permissions

Calma asks for the following permissions to work properly:

• Screen Time. Used only to let you voluntarily block the apps you select during the moments you choose. Apple gives Calma opaque tokens for the apps you pick, not their contents or what you do inside them. App usage data is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted off the device.
• Notifications. Used to send focus reminders and session updates. Notifications are optional and can be turned off at any time in your device settings.

2. Data collection

Calma does not collect personal data. You don't create an account to use it.

The app does not:

• collect your app usage history
• transmit Screen Time data
• store lists of your installed apps on external servers
• sell or share data with third parties for advertising

All blocking rules and usage states remain on your device.

3. Analytics

Calma uses PostHog for anonymous analytics, to improve app stability and usability. Analytics data:

• is anonymous
• is not linked to your identity
• does not include app usage or Screen Time data
• is used only to understand feature usage and app performance

Analytics are used only to improve the app. They are not used for advertising or for tracking you across other companies' apps or websites.

4. Subscriptions and purchases

Calma Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the App Store. Apple processes the payment. We never receive your name, email address or payment card details.

We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier and your subscription status and purchase history from the App Store, so the app knows whether Calma Pro is active. It does not receive Screen Time data.

5. Third-party services

Calma uses third-party services strictly for app functionality:

• anonymous analytics (PostHog)
• subscription management (RevenueCat)
• push notification delivery (Apple Push Notification service)

These services do not receive personal data you entered in Calma, and they do not receive Screen Time data.

6. This website

trycalma.app uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and which links to the App Store are clicked. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects standard web data such as pages viewed, referring site, approximate location derived from your IP address, and device and browser type. We use it only in aggregate, and we don't use it for advertising.

The website has no accounts and no forms. You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings or with Google's opt-out browser add-on. Using the Calma app does not depend on this website.

7. Data retention

All app data stays on your device until you uninstall the app. Anonymous analytics and subscription records are kept by our processors only as long as needed for the purposes above.

8. Your choices

You can:

• turn off Screen Time access or notifications for Calma in your device settings
• delete all local data by uninstalling the app
• manage or cancel your subscription in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions
• write to us to ask about any data related to you

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the app, and the date at the top of this page will change.
