1. Introduction
Welcome to Calma ("the App"), made by AASN Tech ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the App.
2. Features
Calma provides tools to help you stay focused by voluntarily limiting access to distracting apps. The App lets you:
- block selected apps using Apple's Screen Time and FamilyControls APIs
- create custom blocking schedules
- temporarily block apps during focus sessions
- manage app access based on time, daily limits and routines
Calma does not provide detailed Screen Time analytics or historical app usage reports beyond what is required to apply blocking rules.
3. Pricing and subscriptions
Calma is free to download. Blocking features require Calma Pro, an auto-renewing subscription offered as an in-app purchase. Subscription options may include weekly, monthly or annual plans. Pricing is shown in your local currency in the App and on the App Store, and may vary by region.
Eligible new subscribers may be offered a free trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and your Apple ID account is charged. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings.
If you cancel, you keep access to Calma Pro until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period, except where required by law. Refund requests are handled by Apple.
4. App blocking
Calma uses Apple's Screen Time and FamilyControls APIs to restrict access to selected apps based on rules you define. Blocking behavior depends on system permissions and iOS limitations. The App cannot guarantee uninterrupted blocking in all scenarios.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to:
- use the App only for lawful purposes
- not attempt to bypass or circumvent the App's blocking mechanisms by technical means
- not reverse engineer, modify, or attempt to extract the App's source code
- not use the App in a way that could interfere with its normal operation
6. Changes to the service
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features of the App, change subscription pricing or availability, and update these Terms of Use with reasonable notice. Continued use of the App after changes become effective means you accept the updated terms.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Calma is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee continuous availability of the App, uninterrupted blocking of apps, or the accuracy of time-based restrictions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the App.
8. Termination
We may suspend or end access to the App if these Terms are violated or if required by law.
